Who should register?

  • You should! Whether you have years of advocacy experience or none at all, NAEYC’s Public Policy Forum will provide you the tools you need to expand your policy knowledge, strengthen your advocacy skills, and develop and deepen relationships with other educators and partners across the country who share our commitment to supporting young children and the early childhood education profession.

What’s on the agenda?

  • As always, participants can expect sessions on relevant, timely, and important policy issues including early childhood workforce and compensation, federal and state funding, professional preparation and development, and more.

  • This year, we are particularly excited to announce a partnership with the Division for Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children to highlight and embed specific content designed to help early educators advocate for and support inclusive care for children with disabilities and developmental delays.

  • Check www.naeyc.org/policy-forum for updates on the full agenda, sessions, and speakers!

What does it cost?

NAEYC’s Public Policy Forum is a members-only event. This year, we are making it easier for participants without an existing membership to join us! The cost to participate in this year’s event will be:

  • $100 for current NAEYC members in good standing

  • $130 for non-NAEYC members. This fee includes the cost of an Entry-level NAEYC membership, allowing you to register for Policy Forum and become a NAEYC member at the same time.

When you register, you will be placed in state teams to promote relationship and network building, which is a key component of Public Policy Forum. Learn more about your state teams and state team leaders at www.naeyc.org/policy-forum.

We know that you face many challenges every day, exacerbated by the reality that key federal investments in child care and early learning programs have been allowed to expire. Yet we are also inspired every day by you, your work, and the impact your voices are having in shaping conversations and driving investments in states and in Congress. We hope you’ll join us to continue growing our collective work and impact.

Thank you for saving these dates and times and stay tuned for more information about 2024 Public Policy Forum coming soon!
